after searching for months for a car I could afford and didn't need a ton of work ,I don't have a garage anymore to do most my own work , a lot I looked at turned out to be rusted badly in the underbody , finally found one 62 88 conv. I'am 72 now and just want to drive the cars from my younger years , been reading many post on this forum am learning a lot about the olds ,

I moved your post to your very own thread. Welcome to the site, your never to old to enjoy an old car. Congrats on your purchase, it looks to be in fine shape.

Welcome! Do enjoy that ride! Would it be a Dynamic 88 convert? They are kind of nice, in my humble opinion? How many miles on the odometer? Time to shine and ride!

Hi Dave ,I think it was your site I looked at ( saved 62 ) trying to learn as much as I can on the 62 , your site was great , have not had the car shipped yet waiting for the snow to leave , Mileage is around 42000 , still trying to find out if it is a stock color , I have some pictures in albums under rips 62 olds . so far in my research seems 62 parts are hard to find if I need them , The guy I bought this from sells classic cars but this one belong to a good friend of his that had passed away , and the guys son is into hotrods not his fathers kid of car , after looking for months and missing out on many most were starfires was glad to get this at a fair price to me , don't think I have to put a lot of money in it to enjoy it ,
