Newbie 71 cutlass

Hi I have a 71 olds cutlass an I've been wanting to get a new paint job on it an the tag says it's a paint code 26. an I was just wondering if anybody knew that color that was. Thanks for any advise

1971 Cutlass Paint code 26 was Viking Blue

Viking was one of the special order colors that year. Loud, intense metallic blue. You should be OK if you're painting the whole car. 26 is one of those colors that is a real PITA to match if you have to do any panel or spot repair.

But the loud SO colors fit the car and the era very well.
