Newbie with 68 442

Hi all been following along for sometime. Have a 68 442 bought 30 years ago when 19. Before kids, divorce, new marriage you get the idea. It was going to be turned into a circle track car unless I saved it from my friend. Cost a whole $100.00... Haha. He was a good guy. Came with no hood, engine, or transmission. Got a 455 from a 68 Delta 88, had a Muncie M 21 from previous car. It came with Manual drum brakes, 4 speed, 3:91 posi, bench seat very bare bones. Swapped in P/S, PDB, and A/C yeah sacrilege lived in Phoenix at the time no A/C was not an option. So that was all many years ago. The car has not been licensed since 1973 or 76 I'll get pictures of plate. Hopefully soon I'll be able to start again. Everything will have to be redone had many chances to sell but just can't. Love not being another Chevy, Ford, Mopar. But like all cars. I'll get some pictures in a couple weeks it's a mess. Stored at my parents. Still runs and moves. Maybe start a rebuilding tread soon!!

Welcome to the site, the good part is you know the history of the car and where the skeletons are. Look forward to the build thread and pics.

A few pictures

Went to visit 103 year old grandfather. Also parents, in laws, friends. Left with a little time to look at car. Took a few pictures couldn't get it out side rain and hail today. Wish it wasn't 5 hrs away need to start some work on it. It's inside after being under tarps for a few years.
