Cool Newbie with 1987 Cutlass Supreme

New to the site!! Nice to meet you all! I have a 1987 Cutlass Supreme with the 307 V8 and TH200c tranny.
I recently had the 307 completely rebuilt, it runs great but wish I would have got a Olds or Chevy 350...
The 200 was also rebuilt and it gave out within a week so now I'm wanting to swap it.
I'd like to throw in a TH350 if possible, I've heard they bolt right in but I'm not sure what else needs to be done for it to run properly.

Welcome to the site, is your transmission under warranty?

If you are wanting to swap your tranny consider a 200r-4. With overdrive you could swap in lower ratio rear gears which would significantly increase performance.

Thank you! I'll keep that in mind, those are nearly impossible to find in my area though!

Welcome aboard! Nice looking Supreme! The TH350 should be an easy swap but you would lose the overdrive gear of the four speed trans. Goodby fuel economy!
