Newbie- 1963 F-85 Convertible

Just purchased my 1963 Holiday Red Cutlass F-85 Convertible. Had one exact to this when I met my wife 47 years ago. It was in a 63 F-85 that we had our first date and we got married with 45 years ago. Lucky find for me.

A beauty. In my opinion, few color schemes look as sharp on a convertible as the red exterior/white interior does. It looks like it doesn't need anything. Is it "done," or do you plan to or need to do anything to it?

What an ironic coincidence that I saw a '63 Chevrolet SS in the exact same color combination today and was thinking to myself "too bad it isn't an Oldsmobile". Your car is much more impressive to me. Welcome to CO.

Followup work on F-85

I will be replacing the rear bumper. It has been hit from behind and has dent at license plate area. Also, needs work on the Roto Hydramatic transmission. All this I knew when I purchased it. I need to put a heater value on it. I have two in the truck. Not sure why it was removed, I just hope the heater core is not leaking. If so, I might have to wrap up in blankets in the winter. Otherwise, all is a go.

F-85

She wouldn't be in Florida would she? That is where I let my original 63 go. Wish I could find that one and get it back. Did you see my photos on the Gallery?
