First post here on the forum. Seems fitting way to start. 1965 Cutlass 425/Th400 10bolt currently. Plan is a Full UMI Coilover Suspension 2 inches lower all around.
18x8 18x9 American Racing Torque Thrusts
245/40-275/40 18 combo

Welcome aboard! I like it your car's height as it is, it seems to me that 2" lower would not look as good.

Nice. Have you seen the 65 Cutlass that UMI built for Hot Rod Power Tour? By the way, that's a 330 motor, which is why the tall valve covers still clear the brake booster.

I posted in that thread on purpose for the OP to see my wheel setup. But thanks for the compliment, been lurking the site for a while now.

motor and trans is out of a 1968 cutlass that was wrecked after restoration. runs ehh it has a 455/aftermarket manifold 750 carb and longtubes into 3 inch exhaust. The Drivetrain will be sold in the forseeable future for LS setup

Yes i have been following their Build. Perfect timing in my opinion because several vendors i want to use provided parts for that car so it will make my build easier. As Cutlass is not always in the spotlight.

Thank you very much. I am Planning a LS drive train conversion with the goal of 120 mph trap speed ( what stock hellcats trap at my elevation) and put as much miles as possible on it.
I will either run a LSA blower setup or a LS series single 76mm Disc brakes tubular suspension. May **** off the purists but lets face it these are not a million bucks and stock sucks!

Thank you car sat since 1990 on the side of a barn with no motor or trans 40k miles on the body. It was part of a big collection that was being sold off. body is super straight and was a way for me to afford a A-body! I will admit i am not a cutlass geek or anything this is just my next build. i have owned/built over 40 vehicles so far. At 26 years young i have plans for many more. I will update as i modify the car over the next year.
