Welcome to the site! What part of the state are you in? I don't know much about that vintage, but believe the 442 had a V8 that year. I would think the 442 mounts would work. I remember looking at a 1979 Hurst Olds a while back, I believe it had a 350 engine with a TH350 so there should be the right parts out there. John, in Medford Oregon.

Don't know if this will help but I'll try.
I had an 83 Cutlass with the V6 in it and when it let go a friend gave me a 350 from a 69 Vista. I used the motor mounts from the Vista and utilized the tranny that was in the 83. I also managed to reuse the exhaust with some tweeking. Turned out the engine was too strong for the tranny and that let go after about 6 months of beating the hell out of it. Got rid of the car shortly after that.
That was about 15 years ago and I'm lucky I remembered that much.
Sorry, that's the best I could do.
Good luck

I hope you continue to participate here at Classicoldsmobile, but since you've not got an answer here yet have you tried the site called Oldspower? They have a lot more of the G-body guys there than we do here. This is a link to the engine/transmission forum. You might be able to scroll through them and find the answer to your question there. Welcome

Welcome and good luck with your project. This is a good place to find out where to get the parts for your car and maybe someone's got a rearend for you , not sure but you should be able to navigate to all the different forums and ask questions. these guys are great and very helpfull I know that they have helped me out lots and I am on a tighter budget but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel

Coming into this thread late, but here goes.

Get the frame and motor mounts from a 307 G-body. The 350 is externally identical to the 307, so this is a total bolt-in. The V6 mounts are completely different and will not work. The trans crossmember depends on which one you have now. If you have a TH200 (three speed AT) then the crossmember works with the TH350. If you have a 200-4R, you will need the TH200 crossmember. If you plan to run dual exhaust, you will need an aftermarket or modified crossmember anyway. Your driveshaft will work fine with the TH350.
