New from Washington
Sorry, I asked a technical question first in the newbie forum before introducing myself to everyone.
Prior to having the 70' 442 W-30 I had a 69' Toro. My wife was afraid of the Toro because it was too loud ! I sold the Toro because I only have room for one car at a time and the 442 was always a car I wanted. I'm currently repairing rust problems with the current car and getting ready for paint. Typical rust areas that have since been fixed the right way. I can't wait to get this thing out on the road !
My 9 year old boy has been helping me with some of the body work and mechanical stuff and doing a great job. We are having a great time with this car and I'm looking forward to asking a lot of questions here.
Greeting to all !

I ate some great pancakes up there once in a restaurantt over looking a water fall. In my current Senior moment, the name escpaes me but I can still smell the butter and the honey.

Jamesbo, That was the probably Snoqualmie Falls / The Salish Lodge. Very good food ! but a little on the expensive side.
When I was 13 I stayed at a Holiday Inn right across the street from Six Flags Over Gerogia. I remember this fondly because me and my brother rode the old wooden roller coaster about 100 times ( The Great American Scream Machine ). We stayed in the motel for about three weeks with my mom and remember the buffets they had were southern cooking. This was 30 some years ago and I still remember these times. By the way, your 69 H/O is awsome !

That's it
That's it
We were out there watching the Falcon's get their butt kicked on someone else's nickel. [Long story]
I've lived in Atlanta since right after Sherman's Urban renewal project began and I've never been to Six Flags.
Don't know why just it's on the other side of the world from where I'm at [In the vernacular]
When I was a pup, we used to ride the roller coaster at the Lakewood Fairgrounds that was made out of 2 X 4's It became famous in Smokey and the Bandit [one of them]

Welcome! Nice to see another NW'er... I work in Kirkland, and live in Mill Creek.
theres at least 4 or 5 on this site aroudn the seattle area. One of these days we'll have to meet up at one of the local cruise ins.
