new Vista Cruiser owner
Hi,
my name is Tom, and I happened on a 71 Vista Cruiser in a trade. The 350 engine is very low mileage, but the previous owner took off the woodgrain trim to reveal some significant fender and quarter panel rust (came with 2 decent fenders and one quarter panel).
Luckily, the floors are in pretty good shape. The roof windows, on the other hand, have some rot hiding under that trim. Runs and drives great, so I'm going to do it as a piecemeal project.
It seems like there are some real experts here, including Vista Cruiser specialists, so I'm looking forward to picking some brains, and maybe finding some parts!
Thanks
Tom

Welcome, Tom. I too am new to the site, but a long-time Cruiser owner... I've had my car since 2002 and LOVE it! Every time I start him up, the neighborhood kids come running to see where our next adventure will be. I just rebuilt the engine, trans and exhaust system after 264,000 miles... figured it was time. I think you will discover that a Cruiser is (capital F) Fun.
