Hi everyone! just recently aquired a 1972 delta 88 4 door beast with the thirsty 4bbl 455c.i. This isn't my first old olds experience. Way back in the late 90's i had a 1970 delta 88 "downtown brown" with a 2bbl 455 (had to sell her when my son was born in '99), I turned a little too sharp and gave her a little too much accelerator and the tranny broke it's mount...fixed it well enough to watch the guy who bought it drive it away 3 months later i saw it on the road again with someone else driving it (I know it was mine because I pulled all of the badges as keep-sakes.
well that is my intro, glad to have found this community!
