Hello,

New to the site and owner of a '68 Cutlass Supreme. After 20+yrs of waiting, I'm finally starting the restoration. My plan is to work on the engine myself, learning as I go, while I have someone already starting on the body work. Haven't poked around this site too much yet, but hopefully I can find this really useful.
I'm in the search for car parts now. Besides Jegs and ebay, if anyone knows any Olds specific links to search, please let me know.
Currently looking for a grill, not sure if the 1pc 442 style Cutlass grill is interchangeable.

Thanks,
Rob

There is a parts wanted section on here. There are some good sources on here and there are online reproduction vendors like
thepartsplace.com
fusick.com
inlinetube.com
original parts group (OPGI.com)
supercarsunlimited.com

Welcome to the best site for Oldsmobile information sharing and technical knowledge, in my opinion. I have a '68 4-4-2 and this site has been invaluable in helping me restore it to like-original condition.

As far as parts go, I do have a pair of arm rest backing plates that are unique to the '68 Supreme if you are interested when the time comes. These backing plates are plastic and longer than the ones on the Cutlass S or the 4-4-2. They are also not reproduced. You can get reproduced '69 backing plates and they fit, but the appearance is slightly different.

This is a great site in looking for Olds parts. Just go to the section that advertises cars and parts for sale, take some time and cruise through there. You'll find a lot of everything Oldsmobile for sale.

Enjoy your restoration!
