New to the site, long time olds guy

Hey everyone. My name is Mike, I'm 32 and I drive an 84 Cutlass except during the horrible part of the year where it snows when I drive an 83 Caprice. I've had the Cutlass on the road since 2007 and before that I had an 87 Cutlass, first car I bought, for about 5 years until the frame got too rusty.

I used to frequent Olds power.com when I was younger then I sort of lost touch with it and just drove the car while not getting much work done on it. Working several jobs and going back to college got in the way. Luckily the free junkyard 76 350 olds is running the same as always after almost 10 years and 60k miles on top of whatever ton of miles was on it before I got it.

This month I plan to take my 330 heads to the machine shop for a rebuild, so I can liven up the stock #8 headed 350 but that will be another thread. Looks. Like a lot of helpful people on here.

Thanks in advance for all the help I'll probably get.

Mike

The picture at the track was before getting it painted. That was the rattle can rustoleum paint job we did in my friends garage. Last summer I finally got it painted by my friend who manages a body shop. It cost next to nothing.

Welcome to the site... I am into G-Bodies myself, as you can see in my avatar... Mine is an 85 with a 68 455... Since I have three other G-Bodies as well, I have stock piled a lot of parts over the years, both used & NOS...

Nice to meet another fellow g body lover. I converted my mechanic friend who was a Ford guy into a g body guy. Now he owns an 87 442, an 84 Delta, a 79 Cadillac Seville with the 350 Olds.

How close are you to the border at Watertown area? I live in Kingston Ontario which is pretty close to the border. Maybe one day you'll have a part you want to sell that I might need.

It would be about a 3 hour drive to Watertown, 4 hours to Kingston (not counting border crossing time)...
