New To The Site

I am new to the site and thought i should introduce myself. I have been an auto mechanic over 35 years, and back in the late seventies went to school at Wyoming Tech. My car blew up out there fortunatly for me and i found a 1972 442 gold with black stripes. I always loved that car but sold it in the early eighties to buy a house. WHAT A MISTAKE!!!!!!! Well after two kids, some college bills, and the wifes new kitchen, i finally found a 1969 cutlass that i am now in the process of restoring. will post some pictures soon.

Welcome to the site. Look forward to your pics.

Car for a house? I don't consider that a mistake. I would have done it too. Good luck with your new project.

Welcome and x2 on not a mistake to sell a car to buy a home. Sounds to me like you had your priorities right with kids in college and keeping up the house. As much as I love my old iron, it is a hobby. Glad you have time to get back to it now. You will enjoy CO. I know I sure have.

To clarify mistake, sold car for downpayment on house, back in the eighties indiana had what they called bond money, which we qualified for after sale of car. Then we didn't need the money for the downpayment.
