new to site

hi im new to da site....im lookin for suggestion on another cutlass i just purchased..it's a 72 cutlass supreme hard top with vinyl top...lots of rust....my question is should i cut the top off another cutlass or replace the da rust spots with sheet metal

Hi welcome to the site. Best thing to do is post a pic of the roof. Need visual aid before I give advice on it.

IMHO Cutting the top off compromises the structural intergrity of the car.

I've got some very good friends down there. Nice place, but I tend to stay lost ever time I go to Jacksonville.Jes too many bridges.

Yeah, all you southern guys talk look that, Pretty cool in my book, tried to learn it by working in the south never caught on. My youngest got the accent down pat, spent 3 years working with guys from Alabama. He had to be back here for a couple of months before his mom could understand him.
