New from rural Illinois
Hello, just joined and wanted to introduce myself. I'm Don. My wife Lori and I have always been Oldsmobile people. In fact, we met online 12 years ago, when we struck up a conversation about cars, and found out we both had a Cutlass S. I had a 72, and she had a 71. She moved here to IL from PA, and the car stayed in storage for the last 12 years (had several issues) My 72 got wrecked, and I sold it for parts. We recently trailered her 71 here to IL, so now we can get it back in working order. We also have a 88 Custom Cruiser in very nice shape.
Looking forward to spending a lot of time here, gathering info, and hopefully making new friends. Now, let's see if I can post a pic...

Welcome. Everybody here loves pictures and you posted them on your first post. That sure does not look like a car that has been in storage for 12 years. Very nice. There are a lots of good folks here who know a lot about Oldsmobiles and are glad to help. You have come to the right place.

By the way byron is the closest drag strip to you if you ever have the itch. Fellow olds die hard and parts seller along with good mechanic (F-85) lives in paw paw il. Which is close to mendota .
