New Olds / New Member...

Greetings, all.

Just bought a '73 Delta 88 Royale Convertible 2 days ago.

It's a running, driving beater, just the way I like 'em.

This'll be my fourth Olds, but my first in the Age of the Internet -
the others were:
  • 1970 Cutlass Convertible, High-Comp. 350, total rat, never put a top on it,
just wore a raincoat when it rained.
  • 1968 98 formal hardtop, 10.5:1 High-Performance 455, 67,000 miles.
  • 1968 88 hardtop, also 10.5:1 High-Performance 455, 88,000 miles, original owner car.

I'll be posting a few questions over the coming weeks...

Thanks in advance!

- Eric

So, the '73 will be the 'baby' of the family of Oldsmobiles that you have owned. Welcome to CO. I chuckled a little when I read "just wore a raincoat when it rained.". Good easy going attitude to have!

I once swore I'd never buy a car later than 1972 (EGR, etc.)
You can see how far that went...
