New from northern AL
Hi, new to the forum. I am awaiting delivery of a 70 442 hardtop with a light restoration (keeping mostly stock, but a driver) Burgundy, Dual Gate, A/C, OAI hood, rear spoiler, SS1 wheels, posi, should be fun. The very first car I bought was a 69 442 convert while I was in the Army in 1973. Also had a 69 W-30 4 speed convert, 66 hardtop 4 speed, numerous 69 Cutlass converts, an 72 Cutlass Supreme, a 70 442 convert that was sold in 1999 (last Olds until now) to a chef at the French Embassy in DC. So I am once again back in the Oldsmobile fold.
I also have another GM orphan, a 65 GTO 4 speed convert that is in "restification" right now, and a 87 Grand National. Pretty much a Oldsmobile/Pontiac guy, but have had a lot of cars over the years, somewhere in the neighborhood of 75+ last time I tried to count.
Looking forward to learning and contributing where I can!
