Wow, that looks like a project and a half. I'm sure that whatever you do to it, whether it be restoration to original condition, resto-mod, or make it look like a Ford, it will be better than it is now.

Good luck!

Hey it's YOUR car. Whatever you do with it should make YOU smile when you drive it!

Welcome Kraz-z,

I don't see much rust, often thats the big problem in a new restoration., no salt on the roads in California.
Where are you located in Northern California, I'm also up north near Chico...Tedd

I'm from Lathrop. Car is pretty straight, but there is rust in the floor. I found this car outside of Galt. The guy wanted 3000 for it I got him down to 1700 with it delivered (he owns a tow company). Thinking of maybe starting a thread on its progress.

Welcome.
Excellent project.
It is great when someone wants to
bring one back from the dead.
I for one will be looking forward to your progress.

Welcome fellow Californian! Looks like a great start! I'd love to hear your plans. I'm not doing my car exactly stock either. That was a great price, good luck with it!
