New from N. CA.

I have posted a few questions on here already and the knowledge, information, and willingness to help is awesome. Thank you all very much. Now...
I live in Northern California about an hour North of San Francisco. I just bought a 1967 Cutlass which everyone has helped me greatly with already. I am no mechanic and am learning how find info on the car and engine I now have. I am no stranger to Oldsmobile though. Since I first started driving many moons ago I have owned many Cutlass, 442's and even a 1969 Hurst Olds, yes I am still kicking myself for letting that one go, marriage and kids you know. After about 25 years since the H.O. I am back in the saddle. Oldsmobile is the most awesome and underrated car around and I am happy to rekindle my love affair with them.

I spent some time in UC Davis, west of Sacto.
Made it as far north as Weed on a scooter trip with the princess
Missed a few nice cars in Davis

Welcome to the club! You already know there are great people here, with a tremendous amount of expertise, there for the asking. Post some pics of your car when you get a chance.

I've spent time in NorCal as well during my time in the USCG. I've lived in Concord, Antioch, and also up in Eureka (puked my guts out on that ship - roughest riding ship I was ever on in my 27 year career!). I enjoy Northern California immensely. My brother lived in Stockton in the '80s and we prowled the junk yards in the central valley area for several years - I wish we would have pulled a lot of the parts that we just let lay there!

Anyway, have fun and enjoy your Olds!

Thanks guys, I'll get some pics soon. Til then it's an stock 67 Cutlass Supreme Holiday Coupe. 425 or 455 to be determined. Currently pearl plum color, same as the purple PT cruisers you may have seen. I plan on painting it an changing the current ss3 wheels to period correct ss1. I only planned on keeping it for about a year to finish up some things on it and because I have never owned a 67. With the news about the engine now I don't know what I may do. Problems, problems, LOL
