Hi all, I'm joining because I love 442's and am looking to acquire one sometime soon. I'm the next generation of 442 lovers (I'm in my 30s) and grew up with two in my family. Uncles each have a 71 and 72. I learned to drive on the 72. Lots of great info on this site and I just think it would be great to have a new generation appreciate and respect the preservation of these cars. Thanks for letting me join.

The thrill of the hunt Good luck in your search what are you looking for as far as year and options ? Are you set on a 442 only or would a nice cutlass fill the bare spot in the driveway also ?

 

I would like a real 442 but am open.

 

But then you would have to change your signature to "fourspeed cutlass"

Welcome to the group! I'm near Salem, Ohio (Quaker City Raceway) and am into Cutlass/442/Hurst-Olds and Mopars, as you can see from my signature. (I've owned several 74-45 Hurst/Olds, just recently sold my last one, and hope to someday own a '73 or find my old '74...hence my screen name.)
