New member intro

Hi, I live in Saskatchewan, Canada and am the owner of a beautiful 68 442 convertible. This is my first Olds. I look forward to reading through the threads and learning more about the car and I am sure I will have a few questions along the way. Thanks

I have only owned it for a few months. The guy I purchased it from really didn't know much about it and it spent the last 20 years mainly sitting in storage. The guy was given it by his father. It shows 40,000 miles but not sure if that has rolled over once or not. Interior is all original and the paint is 15 years old and still in really nice shape. One thing I notice is that the tranny will start leaking if the car sits for 5+ days but from what I have read that is pretty common with the TH400. I ordered a full gasket kit which will hopefully solve that problem. Also the calipers seem to be oozing a bit. Has anyone had any luck with rebuilding them or should I guy just purchase new ones? If so any advise on kits or brands?
