New member to ClassicOldsmobile
Hello All,
Just joined this forum yesterday, already thrilled with all of the helpful threads! I own a 1969 Cutlass Holiday S with 84K good miles and am in the process of giving it some engine updates, some new interior (carpet & seats) and new paint. It's a well optioned car with front disc brakes, tilt wheel, power locks, and air conditioning. Although it will probably never be worth a lot of money I think it's a survivor worth fixing up and saving. Original color is powder blue and that's the color it's soon to be painted again. I've added an aftermarket rear wing and a steel/fiberglass ram air hood meant for a 1970. It's not a car so special that I don't feel like I can make changes to the appearance so I made the changes. I'm thinking about having the original flat hood painted too in case someone else would prefer it that way down the road but I don't intend to sell it in the near future. - Steven
