hello guys ,

im a new member here just registered today , i just got hold of a 1988 Oldsmobile cutlass supreme classic and rebuilding the whole car.
its pretty much in a bad condition , except the engine & the transmission .

was wondering if anyone has the same model and if they know good websites, also where to get hold of performance parts. maybe even the engine , if i wanted to replace it what engine would fit without having to change transmission/electricals etc.

thank you

Welcome to the site, thanks for sharing pictures. An Olds 350 or 455 will go into your car. We actually are getting more and more member with Gbodies. In addition there are also Gbody forums that that are also helpful for parts.

You first need to know what engine is already in the car. If it originally had an Oldsmobile 307 V8, an Oldsmobile 350 or 455 will drop in easily. If it had a Chevrolet 305 V8, a Chevrolet 350 will be easiest. If it had a Buick V6 engine, either another V6 or the Chevy engine might be easiest.

Look close at the car's license plate and you'll see omer is in the middle east, so any of these engines may be hard to find.

Hi thanks for the reply
Yes I'm sure that I have the 307 CID v8 5.0l olds engine .
But if I replace it with a rebuilt 350 or 455 performance engines . I can easily get it shipped to here from America . And yes you are right not many cars like these around here ..
