New member with 65 cutlass F85 ragtop

Bought this about a year ago in current condition. Just starting to think about making some changes. Hoping to find owners of the like year/model to share specifics about your vehicles. This is my first classic and will need all the help I can get.

Nice ride! And off thread topic, but "nonhog", I think I have seen you around town! I too am in the Puyallup area! Was your avatar pic from a recent meet or from a few yrs back?

Myself included. I joined a couple months ago to learn about the 65 I'm working on. It's been an invaluable source of info for me. Thought my 442 was a clone until these guys set me straight. Guess that's not so bad, some fellow came to the door last week wanting to know if I'd sell the old red "Chevelle" in the garage.

Wish I got as much response from the Buick forum as I do with this one. I've asked about ten questions about my recently acquired 64 Skylark rag on the Buick site, and never one response. I have to ask the Olds guys to find out about the Skylark. Go figure !!

That is an awesome car. The colour looks like ocean mist. It's great to see how many '65s there are in the PNW area. We should pick a show and get together, choke down some burgers and convince Nonhog to keep his ragtop! Goodguys NW Nats is coming up...

Was from one of the Immanuel Lutheran car shows. 2010?

About those wheels. I have found memories of those. Be perfect on a 70's truck or van. Not so much for a sixties car.
Cheney? near Spokane?

I plan on taking the leaf blower to remove the dust layer on my 65 for Puyallup cruising. I will still have by then. Not officially 'FOR SALE' yet.
