New-ish Oldsmobile Fan

Hello everyone.

I don't own an Oldsmobile, nor have I ever drive one, truth be told. I've only been a passenger in a '90s 98.

I became a fan of the brand after realizing that they had made performance models. Before that, I had always thought of Oldsmobile as, well, "old." Not any more!

I don't have any one favorite, but I do like a few.

I hope to learn a lot here.

Oh, and also, I'm not quite sure what Oldsmobile I'd get, to be honest.

I do have a thing for the Quad 4 models, but I'm a huge classic guy at heart.

Welcome! Olds indeed does have a good name in performance circles.

If you are a classic guy, then you should be looking at a 1957 Super 88 with the J-2 (three dueces) set up.

Thanks!

I was actually looking at the 1968-1972 Cutlass.

All I ask for is a manual transmission. Anything else is bonus!

Welcome to C.O.
There are plenty of 68-72's out there. Manual trans (OEM) is more in the 68-71 442 confines. The 72 model year had very few standard trans.
