New here from Upstate NY
Hi all: Roger from Central Upstate NY, new here, but not to Olds, long time on & off member of OCA and back in the mid '80s I originated the Blue & Gray Chapter of OCA by putting on the first organizational meet at Wintrode Olds/Buick in Littlestown PA. Way back when I had a '36 F-36 4 dr, '47 78 Club Coupe, several 1st gen Toronados and '56 and '57 Super 88 Convertibles (they were still pretty reasonable in those days!) and a '65 Dynamic 88 'vert as well. Have had a '72 Cutlass S coupe, '74 and '76 98 Regencies, '73, '75 and '77 Delta sedans, '74 88 vert, and a '90 Regency over my rather long and checkered career. At one point in the later '80s I diverted into Forward Look Mopars as my main collector focus, but have been there/done that now, they were pretty but not the best built cars, and now in retirement have decided to wind up my old car endeavors with a mid '50s Olds, one of my favorite cars of all time. To that end I'm looking at some '55/56/57s and hope to have one soon. I buy solid unrestored cars and like to do most of the resto myself. I prefer the Holiday Sedan 4 dr hardtop for its combination of hardtop style with sedan function... heck, us old Olds folks need those big doors to get in the back, and I'm too darn creaky anymore for convertibles!
Back during my last fling with Oldsmobiles, there was no Internet in general use, what a great site and resource this is! I will post pictures here of my HolidaySedan as soon it happens. Greetings to all Olds folks from Binghamton NY!

Cool - I get up to that area often - I've got a car buddy near Keuka Lake and Penn Yan, and the wife likes all those wineries along rt 13 Seneca Lake! There must be 20 of them at least, just along the West side of the lake!!
Working on a deal for a '56 98 Holiday Sedan, so if it happens pics will be posted!
