new guy from Texas

Ive been interested in cars since I could push a hotwheels around the floor. My interest led me to working in local hot rod and restoration shops. I dont necessarily specialize in any one automobile marque but through the hundreds of cars ive had my hands in/on, Ive never messed with an Olds. There were several growing up, the ever popular green and paneled Vista Cruiser that I spewed in as a toddler, to an 82 Omega that took a beating while I was a teenage driver and the matching 77 Cutlasses (cutleseye?) that my uncles has simultaneously. And missing out on trying to buy my first car at 14, a 76 Cutlass....I couldnt scrape up the 200.00 asking price.

So here we are. Im trying to help a friend rebuild his Cutlass, looking for parts that he cant locate. Gaining some knowledge of things I dont realize I dont know, you know?
