New guy in Massachusetts

Hi I'm Tony and I've just recently signed up here. I just bought a 69 442 convert but I've been into Oldsmobiles for a little over 30 years. I've had a number of 442s through the years and at one point had a 10 second 455 powered 84 Cutlass. So you could say I've paid my dues modifying and restoring these cars! I'm just looking to drive my current 442, repair everything wrong with it, have a little fun and keep it nice.

Welcome Tony, cool car.

A lot of guys on this site like any year or style Oldsmobile as long as it's a 1969 A-body, you should feel right at home.

Yup that's me. How'd you make out with your car? I didn't think I'd be able to buy one until next year but one of my cars sold and this one came up reasonably priced and close to home so it just came together.

Thanks for the welcome guys!

Welcome Tony! A great site for info with any question you may have! I'm not too far from your neck of the woods in Mass. We should hook up in the spring with our 69 converts and ride over to the Olds show in Sturbridge next spring. But my 74 year old father would want to tag along in his Plum Crazy Purple chopped 5 window Ford coupe. We will just make him stay behind us!
