new guy! Jacks 62

I am restoring a 62 starfire. I have done one once before . This one has olds 15" wheels and spoked hub caps. The center of the cap has the olds logo.Last night I saw a Starfire with these on ebay. Could these have come on the car from the factory??? If so I'll keep them if not I will put them up for sale .
Thanks for the help.

Pretty sure those are from another year. 62's came with 14" wheels.

You could get 15" wheel option but they only came with dogbowl hubcaps. I don't think you could even get the trim rings with 15" wheels, but they were police/HD service option so probably made no difference.

Since properly sized 14" tires are hard to find and expensive, I expect that's why the car has 15" wheels.

I talked with a 60 Ninety Eight owner at Seven Springs who had taken a generic 15" trim ring and somehow attached a 1960 deluxe full wheelcover to it. It looked like it was factory made and gave him the correct look with easier to find 15" tires. It also got rid of those aggravating-*** mounting clips. I'm trying to remember if he could access the valve stem without removing the wheelcover.

The 62 spinner full wheel covers mount the same way as the 60, so if you have them you might be able to do that and keep the 15" tires.
