well, i don't have pics of his entire collection. just the ones my dad and i have built for him.

the first one we built for him was this 55 olds gasser.

then we built a yellow 67 442 convertible.

and a couple months ago, we got done building a black 68 f-85. we had that one at the OCA nationals last weekend for it's first outing.

we just got started on the next project which is a 68 442. gonna try to get it done for next years nationals in MA.

I drool over all three of those cars! The gasser was one of my favorites at the Nats, the f-85 I also loved(I talked to the owner) and the 442 is my dream convertible color combo and all.....

they're 17" billet specialties rims. my dad's neighbor is a prototype machinist, and made 5 custom billet center caps to look something like the first 5/8" of a factory olds rally wheel cap.

Nice looking cars all three, however I must say that gasser trips my trigger. It just looks tuff! Welcome to CO, sell those three projects and buy yourself an Oldsmobile soon.

Smile Hope ta meet ya!

Do you ever get to any of the cruises or shows locally? Hopefully I will be getting my '72 done for next spring. Do you get to the Augscht Fescht, or Wheels of Time? Both comin' up this month. BTW you're father and yourself do beautiful work. Do you do everything in house or farm certain parts out? Talk the owner of those cars into bringin' them to some cruises or shows. Would be nice to see that gasser sitting next to all the tri-five chevs.Do you have a shop in Northampton? I would love to look at a local place that does such nice work. Maybe throw some business your way. With the quality of work you do, I'm sure there are alot of people in this area that would like to do business with you if they're not already. Do you ever deal with Thornton in Q-town for Olds stuff? What are the projects you have going? Tell us about them even if they aren't Oldsmobiles. I think you will find that the majority of users on this site have knowledge, appreciation and interest of all vehicles, just a greater love of Oldsmobile. Keep crankin' out those pieces of art!!!

Sorry...should have read both articles before asking questions.

lotsa questions. i don't remember what's all mentioned in those articles, but here it goes.............

we don't get to a whole lot of cruise nights, or shows for that matter. haven't gone to das awkscht fescht in quite a few years, but my dad is at the wheels of time street rod show every year. he'll be there once again with his 55 chevy gasser.......

dads55-2.jpg

with a friend of ours that has this 55 150 chevy that my dad and i finished early last year.....

IMG_3276.jpg

i kinda doubt that the 55 olds will be there, but ya never know. all three of them are heading to michigan for the woodward dream cruise the week before.

our shop is my dad's 4 car garage that is seen in the above pic of the 67 442. we work out of the 2 bays on the right. about the only thing we don't do is build engines, transmissions, and rear ends. we'll do all of the painting/detailing, etc, install them in the cars, and that kind of stuff. but we don't build them. other than, everything else is pretty much done in house.

the guy we do the oldsmobiles for, he's friends with troy. but we don't really deal with him at all.

right now, in the garage, we're working on a 68 442 (just started on it), and a 63 impala. that one is being done like a super stock drag car from the era. i don't have a bunch of pics of it, but here's a shot of the body from a couple weeks ago. everything is ready for paint. i got the cowl/firewall and the inside of the trunk lid painted yesterday. i'm hoping to get the rest of the body done maybe next weekend, then i'll get started on the rest of the parts.
