New guy from central NY

Hi guys,

It's nice to find an Olds forum to learn some about the Oldsmoblies I have. My family has had a few over the years including a '67 delmont(sp?) 88, a '73 Custom Cruiser along with the '90 Regency 98 and the '85 Cutlass I have now.

The '90 was bought new by my parents and is now in my sisters name.

The '85 was purchased by my father from my mothers aunt from Florida in '92 with something like 17k miles, it now has 27,13x mile on it. I've got every piece of the original paperwork for this car!

I'll probably be selling these this spring, I've got 4 other vehicles and no space.

Here's a picture of the '85.

Thank you for the welcome guys (and gal).

Seems like a friendly group and I've seen quite a few nice old Oldsmoblies here.
The '85 needs a headliner (again!) and it could use a paint Job, it's about a 10 footer as it sits. Alot of surface rust in the motor compartment, I'll get a bunch of pictures soon and hopefully you can help me put a value on it.

Like I said, I've got too many vehicles.

Welcome to the forum!

Ahhh, it is a nice problem to have anyway. The 85 looks real nice, especially for an upstate NY car. Do you live right in Syracuse? I am somewhat familiar with the area. I live on Long Island now but I was living in Corning for a while.

It's been in NY since '92 but only driven 10k miles since, mostly my father towing his little 14ft. aluminum boat to go fishing.

I'm about 30-35 miles east of Syracuse in Chittenango.

Welcome to CO! That is a nice looking '85. My wife had one when we first started seeing each other (late 80's) and the top was coming down on hers, also. Had the V6, nice little car.

This has the V6 too, last year with a carb wasn't it?

I was going to give it to my niece for college but it's too nice for year around use IMHO.
I threw these rims and tires on it last year because the stock tires were shot, still have the original rims and covers. I like the stance with the 15" rims.
