New to the forum, 65 Delta 88 owner.
Hello all, my name is Andres. I am 19, and I recently purchased a 65 Delta 88 from an individual and have been driving it around a lot recently. I joined this forum because I need some help with some electrical issues. I will make individual posts about them later. I am new to working on cars myself but hope to learn everything I can from you guys

We can help with that. Just be forewarned, auto electrical work is not for the fainthearted!
Actually your 65 will be fairly simple and straightforward. Do you know how to use a test light or a continuity checker? You may have to lay on your back to work behind the dashboard, but at 19 you're still flexible enough to do it.
You should also get a factory wiring diagram- you will find it in the 1965 Oldsmobile Chassis Service Manual that the factory published. The manual is not a bad thing to have either since for jobs you can't do yourself, you may play hell finding a modern mechanic who knows how to service these cars.
You may be able to find the diagram on wildaboutcarsonline.com . One of their frequent contributors is a 1965 big car guru.
