just aquired this car its a very solid clean car. but it has a 54 buick engine and 3 speed manual trans. engine is not locked up trans looks good shifts good trying to modernize it a bit looking to see what the drive line is worth any ideas? thanks

Welcome. Lets see some pics. I'm not familiar with the older cars. I'm sure someone on here will have some good advice for ya.

 

Ive got to get some uploaded from my phone. im trying to choose weather to keep the 54 engine or sell the drive line and put a modern engine in it fuel injected etc id like to put a 6 speed manual trans also if the 54 doesnt work out.

 

From a hot rod standpoint, the rarity of a period correct hot rod with the Buick engine in it would make it quite unique depending on what the setup looks like.
