Hello!
I'm glad to be a new member of this group, thank you! I can't tell you how many discussion links I've followed over the years from this site!
This gem was found back in 2017 on Craigslist. Her name is Ginger and has had a lot done already before I brought her home. She is a 71' (with a 72" grill) painted in a nice burnt orange theme complemented with the Sienna interior and a white top. Under the hood is a stock 350 with the basic options of ps, pb, (drum brakes) and 14" rally's. (No a/c) It took me a few weeks on getting the kinks ironed out from sitting around. This Oldsmobile has by far been one of my favorite to drive. It turns a lot heads and sometimes I'll forget to wave back because I enjoy driving this car so much. I love to watch the smiles on everyone's faces when they see it for the first time. Ginger helps me relax when taking nice drives in the country and will be a keeper!
I've been working on mine for 3 years and hopefully this summer it will be done and I will be out cruising. It would have been nice to just get behind the wheel of something as nice as yours and drive! It really looks great, enjoy!
Steve
I personally think that color looks so good on the convertible/Supreme body. Sweet car.
70-72 Oldsmobile A body convertible body lines are the best lines in an A body. Sexy sharp lines. Strong front fenders. Killer rear quarters. Aggressive grille and the best Outside Air hood period. Rear end perfect for everyone to watch walk away.
