My Oldmobile project(s) here in Utah...
Just glad to join this forum. I am currently working on a '62 Dynamic 88 and am just getting closer to the primer stage. My other Oldsmobile clunkers are a '65 442 hardtop, a '64 442 hardtop, and a '64 Cutlass hardtop.
I have plenty of questions to ask about my projects as they come up...!

Here is the '62 which I am hoping to get painted this winter or early spring. I have been making small patches here and there plus trying to get better at body work.
My little roadster in the avatar is a '27 Model T on a '29 A frame. Beneath all the bad welds, rust and plastic it is a real steel car! It is my budget-built attempt at an early hot rod.
I need to get pictures of the 442s...but they aren't exactly in the best of shape.

My compliements on the work. You keep a nice clean shop. Looks to be 'oversize' based on the ceiling height
What's taped to the inside front window? If it's anything like mine it should be a 'to do' list that needs to be checked off before moving the car or turning the key.

Allan R, you are correct on the to-do list! It was a pain removing the trim and I have to follow the correct order of installing it after painting/buffing but before reattaching the hood. I honestly couldn't remove the front fender trim until I removed the hood because the hinges (and I'm sure other stuff) were in the way.
So yes, the sheet taped inside the windshield is my step-by-step list.

That car looks amazing for being 57 years old! Is it a survivor or has it had work done? The inside is incredible. With some work; new paint and cool wheels that would be a head turner down any street all day long.
Minor oil leak at the front?

The Cutlass at the top is truly amazing; no rust, runs great, almost perfect original interior. It just needs an alignment and fine tuning.
The red car below it is a real 442, and runs good. It also has plenty of previous body work and repair, and will need total restoration. I hate to "waste" such a wonderful original as the maroon Cutlass, but I originally picked it up as the perfect parts car for the 442. I may sell them together next year, or I may get with the program and hang on to these two jewels. I even might just find the pieces I need for the 442 without pulling them from the nice Cutlass.

Yeah, the '64 442 still has its original motor and transmission. I also have the dual snorkel air cleaner, which they painted black at one time. I don't think I have any better pics, but I'll check.
