My first post...

Hello all -

My first post.
I've hit this site several times in the past, now I hope to be a regular.

My first new car was a '73 442
cranberry red, black stripes with maroon interrior.

Ever since the day I sold it (summer of 78) , I've wanted it back. No Luck.
3 yrs ago I found one similar, purchased it and now making a list of things to do.

I am enjoying the time of tinkering with it. I have a lot to learn.

The first things have been cosmetic - cleaning, tightening bolts, adding new bulbs. I want to feel confident that I can go somewhere and get home. The carb needs intense cleaning - possibly rebuilt.

I shall be back with questions to improve my ride and asking places to find parts.

Dave

Nice ride and welcome.
I always liked the 73.
Does it have the 455?

This is a 350 - automatic - bucket seats.
white interrior.

I'm always finding things that need done.

First thing was to buy some manuals - help me with assembly and disassembly.

Right now I'm kind of looking it over to see what is original and what might be changed.

Told I'm the 3rd owner - 48000 miles
It has been repainted - trying to figure why.

The 3rd car I owned was a 74 442.
It also had the 350 with a peg-leg rear.
Swivel buckets, console and maroon interior
with silver paint and maroon stripes, those were the days.
26000 miles for for $2200.
