Me & Olds

Hi guys. Just wanted to tell you a little about myself, as i'm new to the group. I'm 28 years old and bought my first Cutlass(67) when i was 13. I'm almost ashamed to say that I'm just getting around to fixing it. I bought another 67 to drive while in high school (see a pattern beginning). Traded it for a 87, then bought it back. I've got 6 or 7 60's models Oldsmobiles. Most are parts cars but a couple still have a little life left in them. I got hooked on the g-bodies too, so I've got about 11 of them around (and the best wife in the world). I'm sliding a '66 425 in the 67 i'm doing now because it is running good. Just got a 69 455 w/C heads that i plan on building though. I'd do it now, but my bank account says body shop or machine shop, not both. Anyhow and all, look forward to talking with y'all about prospective build up ideas for the 455.

Now that your "best wife in the world" accepts the fact that you have Olds fever (since an early age), maybe she will get infected and help turn a few wrenches with you. Part of the cure is to post pictures.

Welcome aboard! Gotta see the pics of what you have & what you've done with your cars... that's like a drug around here!
I also have a soft spot for the G bodies but I prefer the early 60's to 70's models.

Yup you sure nuff got the fever. There is no cure but dying, glad you have an understanding wife, otherwise you'd have to find another. Lets see some of those pictures
