...already know me from realoldspower, but this is another wonderful resource for Olds enthusiasts.
For those that don't know me, my name is Bill and this is my 1972 Cutlass. I've owned it since 1986 when my dad brought it to Minnesota from Phoenix. Most of the paint is still original.

Nice-looking car. I especially like the last photo, taken from ground level.
Two questions:
1. What's the "rotten" mean on the windshield?
2. I noticed that the license plate has "PHD" on it. Do you have a PhD in something?

I was at a race last fall and that was the class that I was in.
That just happens to be the original Arizona plates from when I got the car. We don't need a front plate on classic cars in MN so it's common practice for people to run an out of state plate if there car happens to be.
Engine is a mild 455 with Edelbrock heads. It dynoed 500hp and 536tq on 87 octane fuel. It's only 9.3:1.
Trans is a manual valve bodied TH400 with a 10" PTC 3800rpm converter.
Rear is a Moser 12 bolt with 33 spline axles and 4:10 gears.
Best e.t. is 11.34 at 116mph. This was on 28" M/T drag radials and full 2.5" exhaust.
Click the picture below. It's a video of it idling in my driveway last summer. Taken with my cell phone, so the sound isn't the best.

Glad to have your experience here with us!
I could tell just by lookin' at the pics. When he rolls up to the lights the car next to him starts to shake...very nice car, looks really wicked. I like it!
