Cool Long time Olds passion

Hey,
This forum thing is all new to me so I may make mistakes.

I have a 1962 Cutlass f-85 convert. that my father bought in 1963 when it was a yr. old. He took very good care of it but I've been restoring the things that have deteriorated over the yrs. It still has the original paint but it's got the third top.

I also purchased a 1979 Hurst/Olds about a yr. ago that had only 28k miles. I've had to redo the plastic interior pieces but we've taken 7 awards in 7 shows.

Very very cool to have that '62 be in your family its entire life. What a great legacy, and it looks beautiful.

(The '79 ain't bad, either!)

Thanks. We really enjoy both of the cars and take them to all the car events in our area.

Love (& covet) the '62 F85 'vert!!!!!!!!! I think they are great looking cars, and would assume w/the small motor they get pretty good gas mileage. I hope you live close to Reno so you can attend the Olds Nationals the end of July and show off both your Oldsmobile's. I would love to see them both.

We're in the middle of the country and I keep my trips below 50 miles.

Thanks. This particular photo really made the car look great so that's why I use it. The car is actually a 20 footer.
