Just Joined - '75 Delta 88 Convertible

Just wanted to say hello. I purchased my first Olds about 3 months ago here in Austin, TX. It's a 1975 Delta 88 Royale Convertible in metallic dark red with white interior. 455, AC, power windows, clock, tilt, sport mirrors, turn signal lamps, AM/FM with distant/local switch, power trunk release, rear defrost, wire wheel covers, aftermarket dual exhaust, 90K miles.

I'm excited to learn as much as I can about this car... and to locate a '70-'71 Cutlass SX.

Check out the 1975 Oldsmobile Delta 88 convertible registry site. You have a rare one! I go to PA next week to pick one up and drive 1400 miles home. Nice to have another new one here.

Yup, already registered. Apparently my turn signal lamps make the car kinda rare. Just tuned her up. Next is the top mechanism which keeps sticking, get the clock working, new valve cover gaskets and a grill mount. I am shocked at how much I love this car! Good luck with your trip and please post some pics.

Beautiful! Mine looks just like that but a darker, metallic cranberry color. Can you post some shots of the interior and dash?

Nice car!

So that's what the interior looks like when it's not stained and waterlogged!
