Just Checking in.......

Hello, I am new to this site. Over the years I have owned a dozen or so Oldsmobiles. My first car that I bought when I was 16, a 1970 Cutlass S a fast and fun two door. Born and raised in Lansing at the main plant with my dad a lot. My dad had a 65 F85 wagon with a built 455 done by Dick Fortman. That thing just about stood on the back bumper! It was raced at Onondaga Dragway that's what started it all for me. I am currently trying to restore a 68 Hurst. The H/O only has 1900 miles on it 1/4 at a time but it spent years in the weeds.

Sounds like Olds in the blood. Post some pics of your H/O. Any pics from her racing days? Welcome to the site.

Thanks Magna, yes even my Grandparents All drove Olds and a lot of our family worked there too! Will post some pics I should have took some before starting the disassembly oops! Did a vin# check with Judy Badgley she confirmed that is the real deal. I need some sheet metal. I really want GM not repop if I can find it?

Welcome to C.O.! You already mentioned the name of Judy, they have an ad in JWO for sheet metal and parts 66-88 A bodies.

Thanks everyone, I have talked with Judy. She said she has nothing for the 68 H/O. Right front fender and Both back Quarters. Quarters were cut for tire clearance. First time I met Jack I was 3years old. Always been really cool to me.
