I'm new from Montreal

Hi

I'm new on this this forum. I from montreal, Québec, canada. English is not my firts language, but i try to write on the good way.

I bought a Oldsmobile f-85 1961. it is a good ride and i very love this model.
I search a new's part. I misses the letter on the front of my olsdmobile. I you have some part or you know some body, please tell me.

I see on this forum no body have f-85 1961! Some body have a 1962-1963?

Thank you

Have a nice day

Welcome to the site ACC! We have Swedes , Finns , Germans and Italians on this site. You only have to speak"Oldsmobile" to fit in.Ask for help as best you can, and the vets here will "fill in the blanks" and point you in the right direction. Great to see someone keeping that Olds classic alive. The oldtimers around here will also be glad to see someone join with OTHER than a 69....Derek...Barrie,Ont.

Hey welcome to CO! Very sharp looking car. I had to chuckle a little when I saw the very first picture showing the letters "M" and "O" missing because now it looks like the two words Olds and bile. In English the word bile refers to the nasty stuff in a person's stomach that sometimes comes up when they have heartburn. So, your Oldsmobile is having heartburn until you find those two letters that are missing. Hope we can help with that....

Cool little car. Hope you find those letters. 'OLDS BILE' just doesn't seem to sound right...

Thank you for all messages!

Me too, I hope to find the M and O! Because my stomach is not hurt! (I hope I understood the joke)
I'm not sure but I think is only the f-85 '61 have this type of letter! The '62 and '63 have letters on the hood! I think is why is so hard to find this letters.

Thanks for your welcome!
