That's the problem with the bumpers and other brightwork. They're expensive to acquire and then to make look nice. The last 2% of the restoration can cost as much as the first 98%.

I THINK THE BOLT COMBO IS.... 5x5??? with a negative offset around 10??

I just ordered this header....can't wait to turn my car into a dual exhausted vehicle!!

Suggestions on a good larger exhaust pipe size?
I don't want to go flowmasters...too traditional, anything out there with a more unique sound for my old 7.0L motor??

As for sound, remember its an Olds, not a Chevy, so don't make her too loud....

Now moving onto fixing exhaust leaks and hopefully then suspension.
As for the new, retro fit header, I wanted to run a 2.5" dual exhaust system, but my question would be, would 3" be too large for the 425?

what is the stock size exhaust on that car? 2.5 or 2.75?

Stock exhaust is 2.25....I dont think you will benefit any from an increase over stock with duals since you are using stock manifolds....
