Hi guys!

New to the forum, just purchased a '69 Cutlass S Convertible and have been soaking up everything I can from this vast pool of knowledge!

My car seems to be mechanically sound, just needs a cosmetic overhaul so I'll probably be found lurking and searching the int/ext resto forums most often.
Thanks in advance for all the help that I'm sure I'll find here!
Richard

Greetings.

Be careful about soaking up everything in this vast pool of knowledge, some of us dive in the shallow end and bonk our heads and have to be saved by the lifeguards a lot.

Talking Welcome to Co

Those 69's are coming out of the woodwork these days. Someone must be making them in their backyard. Now you need to pose some pictures so we can all see your new toy

Welcome to CO, Hosskix! Love your name! They do kick, don't they! There is a new Olds Club in the Lubbock area, log onto Olds Club of America and it should be listed. Great group of folks out there, and that's not too far to drive from Midland, is it? LOL!

Welcome to the site from another Richard in TX. I used to run the Super Shops store in Odessa in the mid 90's. I still know a few guys out your way.

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome and I'll get some pictures up ASAP!
Just gotta go get the car first, it's only about 13 hours away!
(Do you know how frustrating it is to have a new toy that you can't play with?)

Definately, I can relate... but when you finally can play with your new toy it feels good.

Welcome to the site!

Welcome to this site. There's lots of knowledge here and some real Olds-smart people that have helped me immensely in learning about Oldsmobiles in general, and my cars in particular. Have fun. Wow - Midland - I've only been by there a couple of times on I-20 and I was always in awe about how Midland-Odessa seems to rise out of the desert as you approach it and then sink into the desert as you drive away. It's a very interesting part of our country!
