I need of some helpful advice.

I need some input please. My 70 W31 doesn't have the original tranny or motor.. Its a 70 cutlass motor and a 74 delta 88 transmission. I need a new shift cable and transmission mounting bracket.. Summitracing wasnt much help but I found a cable from hurtst but having trouble with the tranny bracket.. I need the bracket to have a treaded end on it for the cable.

Last time I sourced one it was from a Firebird. So the application is fairly wide. Expand your search to other GM platforms and you should be able to find both the bracket & cable. The later will most likely need to be used?

Are those stripes on your wing, that would be a unique treatment, would like to see another shot of those.

Yeah those are the factory stripes. It's even a unique color from GM, called rally red. Even though its actually orange. I'm out of town till Tuesday, but will get you some extra pics when I get back home.

Rallye Red, though special order, is not uncommon.

yeah, the factory did not paint the stripes on the wing like that though I think it is a cool and very different application. I've never seen stripes on the wing without it being on the deck lid as well and even then the wing shouldn't be painted. FYI W31s and W30s did not have stripes on the deck lid. Rallye Red is a really nice looking color, and as mentioned it is not rare but you still don't see it often and when you do it is very noticeable, great color.
