Hello from Washington State
I have been a member since 2011 and several of you have helped me but I have never introduced myself. I have numbers matching 68 442 that has been in my family since new. I purchased it from my Grandmother in 78 drove it in High School and have kept it all these years. I am finishing a long frame up restoration. I will try to post some pics soon but I wanted to get more involved in the club and introduce my self, so hi from Pasco Washington!

The Washington State folks are lining up today! Welcome aboard. I'm similar to you in that my '68 has been in the family since it was new - originally destined for a dealer in Wenatchee but it went to Bob Brown Oldsmobile in Portland instead when delivered from the factory. Looking forward to seeing your pics!

Randy my car was purchased in Seattle I am not sure of the dealer do you know if there is a way to figure that out? My Grandmother has been gone for a long time as has my Dad and they are the only ones who may have remembered. I have two plate frames one says Riach Central and one says Olson Olds.

Chris,
I'd say just keep asking around. If what you have is a "protect-o-plate", someone should eventually be able to tell the dealership that sold your car. I would also google "Olson Olds" and "Riach Central" just to see what comes up. You might be surprised.
My car was originally destined for Bud Westby Motors in Wenatchee for use as a "brass hat" by an E. Washington zone manager but was redirected to Portland for use by one of the managers in the zone office there. I had the good fortune of actually meeting the son of the owner of the former Bob Brown Olds dealership in Portland - that dealership did the "pre-dellivery inspection" checks for all the Portland zone manager cars. Mr. Brown Jr. hooked me up with the owner of the dealership in Coos Bay, OR, (yes, he's still alive!) that sold the 4-4-2 to my parents when the car was still "new" although it was a year old. The owner of the Coos Bay dealership (and even his daughter) remembered the car because the owner's wife drove it around town a lot. And that dealership owner even knew the name of the zone manager in Portland that had the car for about 3 months. But I just got lucky by asking around.
On the two plates you have, there should also be a 5-digit number - 2 numbers, a dash or a space, and 3 more numbers, like the "25 010" in the upper right of my window sticker. That would be the dealer code. I know I've seen something somewhere there is a data base of dealer codes. You might search this site to see if anything is here.
