Hello and thanks!

Hey everyone,
Classic Oldsmobile was one of two sites that helped me over and over as I started getting my family's 58 j2 back on the road.

So first, Thanks!

I documented my braking system fixes and will post them here in a bit.

I will be making a few videos, too. It seems only real car guys know about the olds tripower and not many have ever seen it working correctly. Well, if my showing off can help someone else...

Thanks again,
az2bc

Welcome to the sight, post some pics of your car when you get a chance.

I am getting some good ones together in between never ending projects.

Here is a little tease of when I was figuring out the proper placement for the hydraulic booster and pedal assembly. Yes, I lost the fresh air intake on the driver's side. Nobody will miss it.

1958 Oldsmobile 371 J2 Tripower and Hydroboost mock up.

I just got the car drivable 3 days ago. The last time I rode in it I was 12. I am more than 40, now. Nobody ever floored it while I was in it.

Well, this car is ridiculously over powered, so just perfectly 50's American! It rides like it is floating, 2 finger power steering and now super strong power brakes. The 371 and hydramatic low gearing really scoots!

The sound! The sound!
