Happened across this interesting site and decided to join other "merry Oldsmobile" fans. I'm a senior, so I remember or rode in or owned a lot of GM's brightest star at one time. (I think 1955 was a peak year)
I love toronados - 3rd generation 1979 to 1985. I owned both a 1979 and later 1983, putting on just over 200,000 miles on each one. I had to sell the '83 in 2003, and haven't had a Toro since then. Couldn't find one this year that I could afford, so I settled for an '89 Cutlass Ciera Coupe. It's OK, but not in the personal luxury car league. So I'm looking for another Toro, maybe getting an '85 Caliente???
I've posted a photo of my Cutlass, rather plain Jane, but it's dependable and gets good mileage.
