Hello from NW Ohio
I just wanted to say hi to everyone. I'm new to the forum, but not to the Cutlass. I've owned about 14 of them from 1970 through 1985. My first was a 72 Supreme hard top. It was the car I used in my wedding. I curently own a 1972 Cutlass Supreme Convertible. I bought it in 1984. It has just over 58k original miles and was purchased new in the loacal area by a lady that owned a dry cleaning business. It has the tictac package (i think that what it's called) 350/4bl and limited slip rear end. It was last repainted in 1979 at a local/former oldsmobile dealer. I have all the paper work. I have decided to strip the whole car this winter and repaint it. I'm going to order new seat covers, carpet, top w/window, top pads, boot cover and what ever else I find that it needs. Really that I want to replace, because it needs very little. I think I'm going to order everthing from Brothers Automotive Parts. I have a lot of various car interest (imports and such), jet ski's, boating. You'll find me on the different forums as "olds72". That was taken here, so I'm "myolds72".

Welcome to the forum! Keep us updated on your progress, and you could open up a post on the "major builds and projects" section when you start your restoration.
Jamesbro, you'll be in trouble when Sandy see that post!

Thanks! This car probably hasn't seen a winter since 1979. I've been caught in the rain a few times though. Too bad you can't get your car inside somewhere.

I keep my Starfire inside.. but the 68 is out in the open. It needs work done anyway so a few more winters shouldn't make things that much worse. Maybe one day I will get it inside, or I will get rid of it before it gets tooo bad.
