hello from north dakota!

Im new here and just want to introduce my self. Im 15 and just getting into the car hobby and find this forum to be very helpful.

I found a 66 cutlass 2 door hardtop with very little rust and a 330 and a 2 spd jetway (i beleive) that a very avid car guy says will run within a weekend of work for 1200 dollars. is it worth it? thanks for the help in advance

G'day young fella and welcome to C.O. Post a few pics and the '66 guys and other knowledgable gentlemen will let you know what they think.
Glad you registered.

Welcome aboard, young'un. I'd say $1200 is a good price for it. I've seen parts cars sell for more than that.

If you have a mentor to help you and guide you thru getting it running, you're a lucky young man.

A 330 is a tough little engine that can make some impressive horsepower. The Jetaway is tough too, but if you decide you want a 3-speed AT or an overdrive, a Turbo 350 or 200-4R is not hard to swap.

Welcome to CO

Sounds like a deal to me. ask for some pictures and post them if you can or take pictures and post. Should be a fun project as well as a first car.

Welcome to CO! I'd say $1200 for that car would be a reasonable price if it truly can be running in a weekend and has miminal rust issues. Glad you found us, and we found you!!!!!

Welcome to CO. $1200 is a fair price in my book, especially for a '66.
